Bell Peppers

Typically, bell pepper plants are grown in field rows or up wire trellises in a greenhouse. Greenhouse peppers are susceptible to a variety of waterborne disease, wilts and fungus, while field-grown peppers suffer more from insect damage, Plants weakened by disease and insects produce fewer fruit. Quality and appearance will suffer as well.

Crop Circle Peppers

Crop Circle pepper plants grow virtually free of pests and disease due to timed under plant canopy irrigation and the proprietary geometric configurations of plants. Nutrient uptake is maximized within the circle to grow dramatically healthier plants. Plants on average produce 3 to 4 times more fruit than plants grown in field or greenhouse.

Specifications | Acre

All types of peppers are grown in a pepper Crop Circle including sweet bells, market miniatures and mild to hot peppers. An 8-inch raised 33 foot square bed contains a proprietary mix of soil, fertilizers and compost. The bed perimeter is fabricated from layered structural wood or concrete and is designed to contain soil and hold nutrient much longer than cultivated field rows. A ground cover installed beneath the bed frame prevents weed growth. A top barrier covering the entire bed also prevents weed growth, inhibits evaporation and facilitates the flow of liquid and nutrient to plants growing through the cover. Over 1,000 plant openings are configured in the top cover. Depending on climate, soil, temperature and plant type, each plant may produce 30 peppers or more in a single season.

Pepper plants are grown within a trench encircling a proprietary underground irrigation mast configured at the center of the Crop Circle. An array of patented irrigators spaced at the center of the trench provide water.

Purchasing

Pepper Crop Circles are entirely suitable for small farming operations; particualrily those with small parcels of land. An urban farmer situated in middle a large city may only need one for growing peppers. A farm market might require several. Typically, an acre growing bell peppers generates between $65,000 and $95,000 in one season. A crop Circle farm can make 5 times that! Contact us for purchasing and licensing information.
